In primitive times, courting candles were used by many a father when determining the amount of time that a courting gentleman could spend with his daughter.  Not a bad idea, maybe?  Putting history aside...they are just so cute and a needful to any primitive setting!  Metal candlestick stands approximately 8-9" tall...including the candle.

You will also receive a grubby hangtag tied on with natural raffia.  (If you are burning the candle, please remove the raffia and hangtag for safety precautions!)
