Through the years...the pineapple has served as a symbol of welcome, good cheer, warmth, and affection between all who dwell inside the home.  Historical stories tell of how the early colonists would place a fresh pineapple in the center of the dining table when visitors came a callin' just to show their hospitality to their guests.

This pineapple offering is made of 100% beeswax gathered just down the road from my home here in bee-u-ti-ful Oregon State.  I have blackened and grubbied this offering with spices for a very primitive look.  I think that every country primitive home needs at least one, don't you think?!  You will receive ONE blackened pineapple adorned with a sprig of Sweet Annie and natural raffia.
